Kyle Newmaster, a film composer originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota has been providing music for film, television, and live performances for over 10 years. In 2001, a year after receiving his master’s degree from the prestigious Eastman School Of Music Kyle made the move from the frozen tundra of his hometown out to sunny Los Angeles, CA. Since arriving in Los Angeles Kyle has primarily focused on scoring films. A few of his film scoring credits include “Reservations” (starring Loren Dean and Ray Wise), “3 Below” (starring Academy Award Winner Ernest Borgnine), “Volare” (starring Federico Castelluccio of “The Sopranos”) and “Dave Barry’s Guide to Guys (Starring Monty Python’s John Cleese),” As an orchestrator/arranger, Kyle has provided music for productions such as “The Ten Commandments” (a musical starring Val Kilmer),“The World Stunt Awards,” Craig Murray Productions and Vitamin Records. Kyle has also recently licensed numerous tracks to Lionsgate Entertainment for upcoming feature film and trailer productions.

Additionally, Kyle has composed, orchestrated, and arranged for such artists as Branford Marsalis, Michael Brecker, Joe Zawinul and Charlie Haden as well as providing music for ensembles such as “The Metropole Orchestra,” “The Columbus Jazz Orchestra,” “The Eastman Studio Orchestra,” “The Erie Symphony,” “The Southwest Florida Symphony,” “The WDR Big Band,” and the “American Dreams” ensemble.

In 2004, Kyle also began a collaborative effort with fellow visionary composers Gordy Haab and Dave Chiappetta to create the novophilharmonic.org, a 90-piece contemporary studio orchestra based in Los Angeles.
